The Egyptian International Cooperation Ministry signed on Tuesday a deal with a British company to purchase three equipment for the removal of mines.

Fathy el Shazly, the director of the Executive Secretariat of the Demining and Development of the North-West Coast, said the value of the contract hits 2.5 million dollars.

He expected the complete removal of mines in the area within three years.
