Juba - MENA
Egypt and South Sudan managed to get rid of the Muslim Brotherhood rule, said Rizik Zakaria Hasan, Governor of Western Bahr El Ghazal State of South Sudan.
He told MENA on the sidelines of Egyptian Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazi's visit that southerners refused the rule of the Muslim Brotherhood in Sudan and that's why they sought cessation from the North.
As for Nile water, he said some sides are trying to use the Nile river file to influence Egypt, making clear that setting up small dams to generate power could settle all differences between Egypt and the other Nile basin countries.
He urged the Egyptian investors to pump their money in South Sudan, especially in Bahr el Ghazal State which is abundant of minerals and has millions of feddans that can be cultivated.
He said South Sudan is keen on boosting cooperation with Egypt in all domains.
