Cairo - Arab Today
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry telephoned his Sudanese counterpart Ibrahim al Ghandour Tuesday to discuss means of boosting bilateral relations.
The top diplomats stressed strong relations between their countries and voiced interest in working together to overcome media exaggerations that harm bilateral ties, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said.
Shoukry and Ghandour agreed on the need to be alert to attempts to drive a wedge between Cairo and Khartoum, he added.
