Egypt supports all efforts aiming at fighting and eradicating terrorism, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said.

The spokesman made the remark in response to a question by MENA about Saudi Arabia’s announcement of an Islamic coalition against terrorism.

As for the relation between the proposed Islamic coalition and the idea of the Arab joint force, Abu Zeid said the coalition aims to exclusively fight terrorism, while the force will deal with challenges facing Arab national security.
