Egypt will raise the issue of the formation of a joint Arab force during the Arab summit to take place this month in Cairo, Arab sources told Asharq Al Awsat newspaper out Monday.
The Arab force aims at facing security turbulences now on the rise in the region as well as fighting extremism, the sources said.
If approved, the Egyptian proposal would be the best solution to fight terrorism and extremist groups like Daesh, the sources added.
