Cairo - MENA
Palestinian ambassador to Egypt Gamal el-Shobky said on Monday that the Egyptian authorities decided to re-open the Rafah border crossing as of Tuesday for patients in critical conditions and foreigners.
The entry of the injured Palestinians, due to the Israel aggression on Gaza, to the Egyptian hospitals will continue, the diplomat said.
He noted that the Egyptian authorities promised to re-open the terminal in the near future for the travel of residency holders, students and humanitarian cases.
Shobkyy lauded Egypt's role in the Palestinian cause and its support for the Palestinian people.
