Egypt's human rights council head Mohamed Fayeq

Egypt has asserted the importance of achieving balance between security and human rights amid efforts to counter terror.

This came in a speech delivered by Egypt's human rights council head Mohamed Fayeq before an Arab conference on human rights in Amman.

Fayeq said that this issues is of great important given the current security challenges at the local, regional and international levels.

Egypt along with 11 other Arab countries took part in the gathering.
