The Interior Ministry called Friday on citizens to apply to get machine readable passports (MRPs) before a deadline is reached to replace the old passports.
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has set November 24, 2015 as a deadline to invalidate the traditional passports which cannot be read by machines.
