Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry promised Saturday to provide every possible support to render a Cairo-hosted Syrian opposition summit a success, a Syrian activist said.
Haytham Mannaa made the statements during a press conference that was held following a meeting between the Egyptian foreign minister and a Syrian opposition delegation.
He added that the Syrian delegation's visit to Cairo comes as part of preparations for a Syrian opposition summit, due to be held here in April.
He added that the Syrian delegation briefed the Egyptian foreign minister on the latest developments in Syria during the meeting.
