Egypt welcomes the planned dialogue talks between Lebanon's Future Movement and Hezbollah, the Egyptian ambassador to Lebanon said on Monday.
Mohamed Badr Eddin called on Lebanese factions to seek a way to end a presidential vacuum.
Lebanon has been without a president since Michel Suleiman's tenure ended on May 25.
The envoy made his comments during his meeting with speaker of the parliament Nabih Berri.
