Egypt's interior ministry

Egypt is witnessing the most stable stage in four years, said an interior ministry spokesman on Monday.
"The atmosphere is now ripe for active societal action to combat radicalism," said Hani Abdel-Latif.
In exclusive statements to MENA, he said the "internal Egyptian front" has managed to foil terrorist schemes that were meant to scare citizens.
He cited more than 1,800 bomb threat reports that have been handled by police since June 30.
