Acting prosecutor general Ali Omran called on the prosecution members to work hard in order to apply the law, urging them to take necessary measures to accomplish the suspended cases.

This came on the sidelines of Omran's meeting with attorneys general on the cases referred to the different prosecutions.

The participants in the meeting realized a minute of silence mourning late prosecutor general Hisham Barakat who was assassinated in a hideous terrorist attack on his procession on June 29.

During the meeting, Omran lauded the performance of the prosecution members.
