Egyptian adventurer Sherif Lotfy arrived in Japan on his bicycle carrying the Egyptian flag on a trip to support the Egyptian tourism.
The Egyptian embassy in Tokyo held a celebration for Lotfy, who covered a space of around 14,000 km from the foot of the Pyramids in Egypt's Giza plateau to Japan.
Such events help promote tourism to Egypt worldwide, said Rasha el-Azzaazy, spokeswoman for the Ministry of Tourism.
The Egyptian adventurer stopped in several cities, including Vienna, Prague, Warsaw, Minsk, Moscow and Astana.
