An official at Rafah border crossing said Saturday that 16 tonnes of Egyptian aid supplies to the Palestinian people have been allowed into the Gaza strip.
Twelve tonnes were provided by the Egyptian Armed Forces and 4 tonnes were provided by the Egyptian Red Crescent, the official added.
The batch, which consists of medicines, medical aid and relief items, would be distributed to hospitals and eligible people.
