The Egyptian Ambassador in Togo Karim Sherif met with the Togolese minister of transportation and infrastructure.

The meeting was attended by the new Managing Director of the Arab Contractors Company in Togo Osama Moustafa.

They discussed means of promoting joint relations in the domains of infrastructure and transportation, said a press statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Sunday.

The two sides tackled also the ongoing preparations of the visit of the Togolese transportation minister to Egypt at an invitation by housing minister and inking a memorandum of understanding in the naval transportation field.

Sherif met with the ministers of justice and interior to discuss ways to boost the legal and judicial ties between the two countries so as to fight terrorism and maritime piracy.
