The Egyptian army killed three militants during a security campaign in North Sinai governorate over the last five days, military spokesman Brig. Mohammad Sameer said Monday.
The campaign led also to the arrest of 18 wanted militants and 35 suspected terrorists, and the seizure of six missiles and 30 mortar rounds, Brig. Sameer said in a press release.
The troops also destroyed 13 hideouts, 12 vehicles of various types and 46 motorcycles that carried no license plates, he added.
