Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister Osama el Magdoub will visit Sudan in mid-January, said Egypt's Ambassador in Khartoum Ossama Shaltout on Saturday.
The senior diplomat will have talks with senior officials on preparations for meetings of the joint cooperation committee, the ambassador told MENA reporter.
Ways to promote bilateral relations will figure high during the discussions, he added.
