Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Ali Guma called for trying the collaborators and terrorists who are targeting innocent people and police and army men.

Those should be charged with treason, he said in a statement.

"At the time we should all stand united behind our Armed forces, we see those terrorists who have no religion carry out such criminal acts for the sake of the nation's enemies in a bid to weaken our Arab world," he said.
