Border guards have been dealing harsh blows to outlaws, terrorists, takfiris and smugglers all through the past year and a half.

They managed to seize 9,912 weapons, including sniper rifles, pistols, machine-guns and birdshot rifles.

They also seized 505 detonators, 5,327 light arms, 331,963 bullets, six rockets and 4.250 tons of explosive materials.

The border guards destroyed 1,429 tunnels in North Sinai that were used by terrorists in smuggling operations.

They seized a large amount of narcotics, gold detectors, heavy fuel, smuggled medicines, computer sets, satellite communicators, tablets and laptops.

They arrested 15,440 illegal immigrants.
