The cabinet approved, during a meeting held under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, a proposal suggested by justice minister to annul imprisoning defendants in misdemeanor cases and violations in iron cages.

The proposal states providing a place for them to inside the court to preserve their dignity.
