The Cabinet approved during a meeting on Tuesday under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab the national budget plan for combating drug addiction and forming a committee to follow up the issue.

The plan was declared during a national a recent conference where an additional 25 million pounds were allocated for the project.

The committee will work to make use of the resources available to early detect the bad habit and deal with it.
