The Cabinet approved a number of decisions during a meeting on Thursday.

Durunf a meeting under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, it agreed to transfer the assets of the cinema department at the Sound and Light and Cinema Company to the Supreme Council of Culture.

The decision was taken upon a request from the Culture Ministry to help the state develop the role of cinemas in cultural awareness.

The Cabinet also approved re-allocating two land plots owned by the state to the General Authority for Reconstruction Projects and Agriculture Development to be used in reclamation and agriculture projects. They are located in Beheira and Minya governorates.
