The Cabinet convened Wednesday under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab to discuss measures that should be taken to counter terrorism.

The Cabinet reviewed a report on the security situation in the country.

Ministers also discussed efforts to continue to secure Ramadan commodities in line with directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

Also on the agenda of the meeting was the preparation for the Lesser Bairam and the inauguration ceremony of the New Suez Canal.
