Cabinet members, led by Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, convened on Thursday to discuss a number of political, economic and security files.
The meeting is expected to review ways to secure Egypt's streets as well as the recent African and regional activities' outcome and also Egypt's participation in the African Union Summit slated to be held next week in South Africa.
The meeting will also tackle the outcome of Mahlab and his ministers' inspection tours to various governorates.
They will also discuss Egypt's foreign policy and outcome of ministers and officials' visits to the foreign countries.
Preparations for Ramadan month will be also reviewed.
The meeting will discuss the availability of basic commodities in the markets.
They will also tackle the indicators of the new draft budget and a number of bills.
