The Cabinet convened its weekly meeting Wednesday under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab to discuss a number of political, economic and security files.
Ministers will tackle preparations to hold parliamentary elections before the end of this year.
They will also review a report on the security situation in the country and efforts to counter terrorism.
Also on the agenda of the meeting is a file about administrative corruption and efforts to improve services provided to citizens, particularly in the education and health sectors.
The Cabinet will also discuss preparations for the new academic year.
The one-million-feddan project will also figure high in the meeting.
