The cabinet held a meeting on Tuesday at the headquarters of the Ministry of Investment under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab.

The meeting focused on political, economic and social files, as well as efforts to secure the Egyptian street and provide services for citizens before the start of the fasting month of Ramadan in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

Mahlab returned to Cairo Tuesday morning from South Africa where he led Egypt's delegation to the African Union summit.
