The Cabinet, under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, held an urgent meeting on Sunday to discuss a number of important domestic issues and the latest Arab and regional development.

The cabinet is expected to review a security report on the efforts exerted to combat terrorism and another one on the Egyptian foreign policy.

Indicators of the new state budget and a number of various draft laws will also be discussed during the meeting.
