The Cabinet had referred a comprehensive bill on terrorism prepared by the Justice Ministry to the Legislative Reform Committee, Transitional Justice Minister Ibrahim el Henedi said.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Henedi said the bill was submitted to the Cabinet this week, which decided in turn to send it to the legislative committee for study.

The committee had sent a copy of the bill to all its members, giving them 15 days for review and study before discussing it with relevant bodies, he said.
