The Cabinet held its weekly meeting here on Wednesday under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab and discussed several political, economic and security files.

The ministers took up efforts for fighting terrorism and providing security in the Egyptian street along with the recent developments on the Arab and regional arenas.

They also took up Egypt's participation in several Arab, African, regional and international events.

The Cabinet reviewed a report on providing the basic needs of the Egyptian citizens during the fasting month of Ramadan that will start in June.
