The Egyptian Cabinet under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab took up at a meeting on Tuesday several important files.

The ministers discussed political, economic and security files along with the recent regional developments.

They gave a special focus to means of fighting terrorism and providing security on the Egyptian street.

They took up arrangements for the coming Egyptian-Jordanian higher committee meetings that will be held on Wednesday in Amman.

The meeting touched on providing the basic commodities for the public ahead of the fasting month of Ramadan that will start in mid June.
