Defense Minister Sedki Sobhy approved Sunday a minor reshuffle that include two senior army commanders.

Major General Osama Mounir was named as the commander of the Naval Forces succeeding General Oama Al-Gendy.

Major General Nasser Al-Asy was named as the commander of the Second Fields Army succeeding Major General Mohamed Al-Shahat.

Al-Shahat was appointed as director of Military Intelligence and Reconnaissance Department replacing Major General Salah Al-Badry, who was named as assistant defense minister.
