Minister of Defense Colonel General Sedqi Sobhi met on Wednesday with his Somali counterpart Abdel Qader Sheikh and his accompanying delegation currently visiting Cairo.

They discussed issues of mutual concern especially in the terror combat domain and means to promote the two countries' relations.

The Somali defense minister appreciated the role of Egypt and its people and the support to Somalia to achieve security and stability in the African continent.

The meeting was attended by Chief of Staff Lt. General Mahmoud Hegazy and other high-ranking officers.
