The Salafist Front's call on its supporters to stage protests on Friday is an "evil call by a desperate defeated group," the Democratic Generation Party also known as Al-Geel Party, said.
"The group has allied itself with the enemy against the people and declared a terror war against the nation," the party said in a statement Sunday.
The so-called Salafist Front is just a name given by the Muslim Brotherhood for a group of extremists, it warned.
