Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry visited the Orthodox Cathedral Wednesday to greet Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese on Christmas.
Shoukry wished Egyptians further progress and prosperity.
Pope Tawadros greatly appreciated efforts exerted by Shourky to protect national interests abroad, Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdel Aati said.
