The Egyptian Foreign Ministry decided to flay the national flag at half-mast on Friday in mourning over the death of Saudi King Abdallah ben Abdel Aziz, who died in the early hours of the day.
The Presidency announced a seven-day mourning earlier Friday.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said he felt sad for the king's death.
