Cairo - MENA
The Foreign Ministry is working on final preparations for an Arab summit Egypt will host on March 23-29.
Work is underway at the international conferences center in Sharm el Sheikh to guarantee the event is successful and reflects Egypt's regional and international weight.
Nabil Habashi, the director of the protocol department at the Foreign Ministry, Monday inspected all the halls at the center to make sure all arrangements are made to receive Arab kings, emirs and presidents.
He also visited the media center to make sure Egyptian, Arab and foreign reporters covering the Arab summit get their job done without any obstacles.
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry also visited the international conferences center before leaving Sharm el Sheikh.
South Sinai governor Khaled Fouda is closely following up preparations for the upcoming Arab event, to be held in Egypt for the first time since the January 25 and June 30 revolutions.
