The Foreign Ministry Wednesday advised Egyptian fishermen not to sail through Libya's territorial waters, warning of big security risks and direct threats to their lives.
The warning comes amid deteriorating security conditions in the neighboring state.
The Foreign Ministry said entering the territorial waters of another country is also a violation of law.
Owners of fishing boats should abide by all naval laws and rules, the ministry said.
