Armed forces have been deployed across Egypt to protect public and private property and secure roads and main traffic hubs.
The move comes as part of the decisions taken by the National Defense Council to protect vital facilities in the state after the Daesh group beheaded 21 Egyptians in Libya on Sunday.
The Armed Forces will cooperate with the police to maintain security all over the country.
