The security situation nationwide is stable and the security forces are geared up to encounter any acts of violence, governors of the country's provinces assured Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Friday.
Mahlab contacted all governors via video-conference to get briefed on security conditions and to stand on the troops' readiness to face riot acts and provide security.
The PM stressed that the Egyptian people trust the country's political leadership.
