Cairo - Arab Today
The High Elections Committee (HEC) dismissed Saturday news reports on its plan to resort to the Supreme Administrative Court to challenge rulings issued by some administrative courts over the parliamentary elections.
The HEC reiterated its commitment to implement the judiciary rulings, HEC's Spokesman Omar Marwan said, adding the Egyptian State Lawsuits Authority was the body responsible for challenging such verdicts.
Marwan said 88 percent of claims against different electoral commissions were rejected, while only 12 percent of the lawsuits were accepted.
