Minister of Interior Magdy Abdel Ghaffar approved police officers' reshuffle, a well-informed security source said Sunday.

The reshuffle included 1,680 officers transferred upon their requests and 325 officers for their social and medical conditions, the source added.

The source said 252 officers would be promoted to senior posts.
