Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar has condemned the cowardly attack on Saudi troops in Asir area.

In a cable to his Saudi counterpart Prince Mohamed bin Nayef, Abdel Ghaffar extended condolences for the death of the troops.

He stressed Egypt's full support for efforts exerted by Saudi police to fight terrorism and extremism.

Abdel Ghaffar also wished the injured a speedy recovery.
