Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghafar honored on Sunday families of 138 police martyrs in a ceremony at the Police Academy in Cairo.

The minister handed the families decorations that were granted by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in recognition of the martyrs' sacrifices.

The minister asserted the police is strictly dealing with anyone who tries to terrorize the citizens.

He asserted that policemen will continue to sacrifice their souls to preserve security in Egypt.

He also underlined the importance of unifying efforts in this phase to restore security.
