Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar participated on Sunday in the funeral held for police brigadier who was killed in an armed attack in Arish late on Saturday.

A number of Interior Ministry commanders, residents and the killed policeman's colleagues have attended the funeral prayer that was held at the Police Academy Mosque in Cairo.

Earlier, Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Sattar was killed when gunmen have opened fire at him near Arish police station.
