The Interior Ministry denied online stories about adopting a plan with the Awqaf Ministry to 'de-radicalize' Muslim Brotherhood prisoners.
The news reports in this regard are baseless and unfounded, the ministry said in a statement Saturday.
The ministry urged the press and media to stop spreading such irresponsible stories that would only cause confusion among the public.
