The Egyptian Interior Ministry decided on Friday to suspend all celebrations marking Police Day, to fall on January 25, over the death of Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdel Aziz.
King Abdullah died earlier in the day at the age of 90 after ruling the kingdom from 2005.
All celebrations at the different sectors of the ministry will be suspended, said spokesman for the ministry Hani Abdel Latif.
