Kuwaiti cabinet

The Kuwaiti Cabinet on Sunday said official talks between Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab and his Kuwaiti counterpart Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah were held in a friendly atmosphere that reflected the depth of historical and close relations between both countries, KUNA news agency reported.
The Cabinet said that talks also reflected mutual willingness to further promote and boost bilateral cooperation to cover various fields that serve people-to-people interests and match the size of brotherly and firm bonds.
The talks showed the willingness of Kuwait and Egypt to exert more efforts to support relations among all Arab countries and to achieve solidarity in face of terrorism with a view to maintaining security and stability and providing decent living conditions to Arab people, the statement added.
Kuwaiti Finance Minister Anas Al-Saleh, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Oil Minister and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Saleh Al-Omair, Minister of State for Housing Affairs Yasser Abul, several other state officials and the visiting Egyptian prime minister's accompanying delegation were present in the meeting.
The Kuwaiti PM then hosted a banquet in honor of his Egyptian counterpart.
