Minister of Awqaf (Endowments) Mohamed Gomaa on Saturday hailed Saudi King Salman bin Abdel Aziz over a call to maintain inter-Arab unity in face of terrorism.

In a statement, the minister said a mechanism is necessary to put the king's call into action.

"Terrorism threatens us all and our common destiny," the minister said.

He hoped the joint Arab military force may reach solutions for crises griping the region.
