Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Sunday held a meeting with the ministers of health, finance and agriculture and the head of the health insurance commission.

The meeting tackled measures for implementing the health insurance law for farmers and agricultural workers.

Mahlab said the agriculture ministry is working on enlisting farmers and agricultural workers who will benefit from the law.

Egypt's constitution says the state must establish a comprehensive health insurance system and ensure that social insurance services are provided … in a manner that provides a decent life.
