Police forces arrested a member of the Muslim Brotherhood involved in the killing of the head of Suez police investigations lieutenant general Mohamed Suwalim.
The terrorist was among others who opened fire at a security checkpoint in Suez at dawn of Thursday.
Suwalim was killed in a manhunt launched after the checkpoint attack in Alban area.
Police forces killed one of them and arrested another identified as Omar el Gabarti.
